Researchers at the Be Well Institute for Substance Use and Related Disorders are conducting this study to better understand how to support certified Peer Recovery Support Specialists (Peers) in their working environments. The goal of this research is to develop and validate a survey instrument that will help assess workforce needs and inform strategies to support the peer workforce.
This study is funded through the Peer Recovery Innovation Network (PRIN) pilot program.
What does participation include?
Participants who choose to join this study will be asked to complete the survey twice, with two weeks between each survey. This allows the research team to assess how consistent the survey is over time. Each survey will take approximately 30-35 minutes to complete.
Who is eligible?
- 18 years of age or older
- Currently a certified Peer Recovery Specialist working in a peer support role with participants navigating substance use challenges
